Call of Duty: WWII Prestige Guide – All Rewards and How to Unlock Them

Call of Duty: WWII continues the franchise’s long-running Prestige tradition, but with added depth through Division and Weapon Prestige systems. Whether you’re new or returning, the rewards for climbing the ranks are well worth your time, especially with XP bonuses that make leveling faster than ever.

How Prestige Works in COD: WWII

The main Prestige system activates once you hit level 55. At this point, you can head to Prestige Overlook in the Headquarters social hub to reset your level and enter Prestige mode. While this drops you back to level 1, the benefits include:

  • A unique calling card
  • A helmet based on your Prestige level
  • A permanent unlock token to retain a weapon of your choice

There are 10 Prestige ranks in total. Each one adds a custom class slot, helping you experiment with different weapons and Divisions without losing progress on attachments or challenges.

Division Prestige Rewards and Unlocks

COD: WWII lets you Prestige each of the game’s Divisions, which rewards you with exclusive weapons and Basic Training perks. Here’s what each first-time Division Prestige unlocks:

  • Infantry: SVT-40 / Scoped
  • Airborne: MP40 / Energetic
  • Armored: MG42 / Hunker
  • Mountain: Kar98k / Inconspicuous
  • Expeditionary: Sawed-Off Shotgun / Concussed
  • Resistance: 9mm SAP / Shifty
  • Cavalry: ZK-383 / Specialist
  • Commando: AS-44 / Remedy

Prestiging your Division also displays a unique Division icon next to your name, making your specialization visible in matches.

Weapon Prestige and Gunsmith Customization

Each weapon can be Prestiged twice at the Gunsmith in Headquarters. This adds more visual flair and bragging rights to your favorite guns:

  • Weapon Prestige 1: Unlocks clan tag engraving
  • Weapon Prestige 2: Unlocks a visible kill counter

These subtle customizations give hardcore players a way to showcase their dedication and skill with specific weapons.

Whether you’re chasing cosmetics, custom slots, or just love showing off your rank, Call of Duty: WWII’s Prestige systems offer plenty of ways to flex your progress. With faster XP gains today, it’s the perfect time to grind.
