Adin Ross Reveals $140M Kick Offer Rejected by Kai Cenat and IShowSpeed

Key Takeaways

  • Kick offered $140 million to Adin Ross, Kai Cenat, and IShowSpeed for a one-year streaming deal.
  • Kai and Speed declined, prioritizing creative freedom and loyalty to Twitch and YouTube.
  • Kick continues its rise in the livestreaming world, while Twitch stars like Kai Cenat thrive without exclusive contracts.

Twitch and Kick streamer Adin Ross has disclosed a massive $140 million contract offer from Kick aimed at himself, Kai Cenat, and IShowSpeed. Despite the staggering value of the deal, Ross revealed that both Kai and Speed declined the offer, opting to continue building their brands on other platforms.

Kick, a rising competitor to Twitch since its 2022 launch, has made headlines for aggressively pursuing top talent with record-breaking payouts.

$140 Million for One Year—No Gambling Required

During a recent stream, Adin Ross revisited the lucrative offer from Kick CEO Eddie Craven, stating that the three-streamer deal was worth $140 million just for the first year. Ross emphasized there was no requirement to do gambling content, which had previously been a contentious issue on Kick.

Had the trio accepted the deal, they each stood to earn close to $47 million per year, with potential for renewal. According to Ross, this deal was Kick’s boldest attempt yet to lure major creators from Twitch and YouTube.|

Kai Cenat and IShowSpeed Declined to Sign

Despite the eye-watering figures, Kai Cenat turned down the Kick offer, citing concerns about creative freedom and community engagement. On stream, Kai explained that he dislikes contracts that could interfere with his streaming schedule or limit how he interacts with fans.

This isn’t the first time Kick has attempted to recruit Kai. Back in 2024, he mentioned rejecting a $60 million deal that would have involved splitting his Twitch subathon between both platforms.

IShowSpeed also declined the deal and later partnered with Kai on a show via Rumble, further solidifying his focus on platforms outside Kick.

Streamers Stay Loyal to Platforms as Kick Grows

Both Kai and Speed’s careers have continued to soar. Kai now has over 18 million Twitch followers, while Speed has surpassed 42 million YouTube subscribers and recently rejoined Twitch with over 1 million followers.

Meanwhile, Adin Ross remains one of Kick’s top stars, continuing to advocate for the platform and sharing his massive earnings from its partnership program. Kick itself has also been gaining traction as a viable alternative to Twitch, especially for creators seeking higher revenue splits.
